Two Hawk License Plate Agency cuts the ribbon!

The Lumberton Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Two Hawk License Plate Agency on January 4^th.  The business is located at 118 West 5^th Street in Lumberton.  The hours of  operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.  Harvey Godwin, Owner, stated the agency’s goal is to provide great customer service.  Be sure to visit Two Hawk License Agency for all your license plate needs.

A Ribbon Cutting was held for the Grand Opening of the Atkinson’s Convenient Store Dairy Queen Grill & Chill.  This week is the Grand Opening week and numerous gifts will be given out to several lucky folks.  The businesses are led by Danny Brahmbhatt.  Come visit them at 3080 West 5^th Street in Lumberton.

A Ribbon Cutting was held recently for The Secret Garden located at 510 Liberty Hill Road in Lumberton.   Cindy Wilcox, owner stated “ I developed my first experience in floral design in Wallace North Carolina, where I opened my first shop. I got married and moved to Lumberton.  After raising my children, I found myself wanting to get back to my other love of flowers, and helping people express their sympathy and happiness through flowers. I have been in business for 16 years”.   Cindy was excited to share her ribbon cutting with friends and family and look forward to many years of helping the needs of her customers.  The business hours of operation are M-F 9 am -5 pm and Saturday 9 am -12 pm.  Give her a call at 910-272-0000.

CELEBRATION OF THE ANGELS FROM LUMBERTON!

On Tuesday, September 12^th, the Dixie Youth World Series Softball Champions – The Angels from Lumberton were celebrated and honored with a parade through downtown Lumberton!!!!   The girls, coaches and parents began this journey in March and with many hours of practice and a lot of dedication, their dreams came true!  Thank you to all who made this possible and for making our city so proud!!!!  The float was provided by the City of Lumberton and The Lumberton Area Chamber of Commerce.

THE FLOORING & GRANITE OUTLET IS OPEN!

Meet the members of your Chamber's Image Committee who are working every day
to broadcast ALL THE GOOD in Robeson County.  Read all about it by liking

Committee meets monthly and most recently toured the UNCP Thomas
Entrepreneurship Hub and heard from speakers Beth Wilkerson and Channing
Jones.  Many ideas were exchanged on ways to increase and broadcast positive
information on our County.  TRENDING IN ROBESON is a tool every business can
use to promote Lumberton to prospective employees, businesses, home buyers,
visitors, etc.

The Fig Tree Bed and Breakfast is Open

The Fig Tree Inn Bed and Breakfast located at 308 Trinity Street in Fairmont
was built in 1910 as a private residence by a prominent local landowner. The
residence remained in the family until the 1990’s at which time it was sold
twice over a short period of time. The house sat vacant for years and
deteriorated. In 2006 we purchased the neglected property and began
restoration. The property opened its doors as a bed and breakfast in March
of this year (2023). The B&B offers three themed bedrooms with breakfast
included, daily baked goods and refreshments, indoor sunroom and library,
relaxing porches and beautiful gardens, and is open year-round. Give them a
