Downtown Lumberton welcomed new energy last week as Lumberton Station celebrated its ribbon-cutting. Community members, local leaders, and supporters gathered to mark the transformation of this historic space into a vibrant destination for connection and growth.
Owned and developed by Tommy and Gidget Vickers, the project reflects a strong commitment to preserving Lumberton’s character while fueling its future. Adding to the excitement is the upcoming Ladder Company Cafe, a firehouse-inspired café that will bring artisan sandwiches and fresh lunch options to the heart of downtown.
The event showcased the continued momentum in downtown Lumberton, with Lumberton Station and the Ladder Company Cafe serving as a spark for revitalization, community pride, and new opportunities.
