The Kinship NC Event Space proudly held its ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 14, 2025. We were honored to share this special milestone with our family—Shereese Lynn-Cromartie, Evie McKay (business partner and sister), Joyce Lynn (our mother), and Keymon Cromartie (Shereese’s son)—as well as the Lumberton Area Chamber of Commerce, the Mayor of Lumberton, City Councilman, and other local officials.
At The Kinship NC, our mission is to foster a strong, connected, and inclusive community. We are committed to serving as a central gathering place where friends, families, residents, and local businesses can come together for private celebrations, educational and empowerment seminars, cultural events, and civic discussions—all within a safe, affordable, and accessible space.
Our dedicated team is ready to serve you, and we strive to provide five-star customer service with every interaction. Our doors are officially open, at 304 North Elm Street in Lumberton and we welcome you to experience the venue through a complimentary walk-through tour, offered every Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (appointments required).
