The Lumberton Area Chamber of Commerce held a
ribbon cutting ceremony for Sunflowers Wellness
Therapeutic Services, PLLC. Sunflowers Wellness
Therapeutic Services, PLLC is a mental health
private practice owned and operated by
husband-and-wife team Dr. Corey Winston and
DeNotra Winston. Guided by the belief that mental
health is just as important as physical health, the
practice provides therapy and support services for
individuals, couples, families, and youth. Licensed
clinicians and counselors specialize in trauma,
substance use recovery, grief, anxiety, depression,
perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, stress, and
life transitions.
In addition to clinical services, Sunflowers Wellness
maintains a strong commitment to community
wellness. The practice hosts youth programs,
summer activities, and group sessions designed to
support children, teens, and adults in building
healthier, more balanced lives. Services include
individual counseling, group therapy, and
family-based support.
Additional offerings include Creative Art
Therapy with makeup artist Cynthia Bethea
(by appointment), Crochet Class with
Johnnie Johnson held Thursdays from 10
a.m. to noon, a Women’s Group via Zoom
on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to noon, and a
Men’s Group via Zoom on Mondays at 7
p.m. to 8 p.m .. Sunflowers Wellness plans
to continue expanding its community

The Lumberton office is conveniently
located at 4145 Fayetteville Road, Suite C,
in Lumberton, NC 28358. Beyond the
Lumberton location, Sunflowers Wellness
also serves the community through three
additional offices in Fayetteville, Durham,
and Greensboro. Office hours vary to
