Triumph Beauty Academy was founded in Robeson County by ShaLella Love, Sharon Smith and Shanese Spaulding, to provide Estheticians a place to prepare for the workforce in the Cosmetic Arts health and beauty industry. The Academy is a North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Arts Licensed Post Secondary Education Facilities.
The Academy has two state board approved curriculums. One is the concentration to become a state licensed Esthetician, and the other is the opportunity to become a state licensed Esthetician Instructor, both allowing students to gain employment in Day Spa’s, Dermatology Offices, Plastic Surgery Centers, opening their own Business, or teach as an Instructors.
The Academy prepares learners in Robeson and surrounding counties to become educators, and business entrepreneurs. Their program prepares graduates to sit for the NC State Board of Cosmetics Arts Examiner. The program’s length is 600 hours (6 months) for future estheticians or 1200 hours (12 months) for instructors. Their courses are designed to teach students how to care for skin and enhance beauty professionally. The coursework also includes teaching the proper blood exposure, safety, and sanitation procedures to avoid spreading infectious diseases to practice in a clean and safe work environment.
The school is flexible, offering an online curriculum as well as in the classroom making it easier for students to come to classes that better fit their schedule. They are located at 312 North Elm Street in Lumberton and can be reached at 910-316-1337 or by email soesthetic21@gmail.com .
