The Lumberton Area Chamber of Commerce held the Annual Chamber Gala recently. The gavel was passed from past Chairperson Jennifer Stephenson of Speech Pathology Services of Robeson, Inc. to our new chairperson Debbie Branyon, Branch Manager/Vice President of First Bank in Lumberton. She stated she is very excited about the new year and the positive things the Chamber has planned.

The Lumberton Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Two Hawk License Plate Agency on January 4th. The business is located at 118 West 5th Street in Lumberton. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Harvey Godwin, Owner, stated the agency’s goal is to provide great customer service. A Ribbon Cutting was held for the Grand Opening of the Atkinson’s Convenient Store Dairy Queen Grill & Chill.
